Le Bout du Monde

Arranged on 3 levels, the cottage « Le Bout du Monde » can accommodate 8 to 10 people. It is the largest of our 3 accommodations. The bedding is very comfortable, the beds are made on your arrival and the household linen is provided (towels, sheets and bath mats). The cottage is equipped with a flat screen TV and free wi-fi access. To entertain you and liven up your evenings, board games are available.

On the ground floor, a large living room includes an equipped kitchen, a dining room and a lounge area with 2 sofas, including a convertible sofa bed (width 140 cm), and 2 comfortable armchairs. A PMR bathroom (with WC) is accessible to disabled people.

The kitchen is fitted with the following equipment: traditional oven, induction hob, microwave, fridge (with -18°C compartment), dishwasher, coffee maker, toaster and blender.

On the first floor there is a large bright bedroom with 2 beds (90×200 cm) convertible into a single one (180×200 cm). Furnished with 2 armchairs and a desk, this spacious room also has a bathroom (with bath and shower) and private WC. A pleasant reading corner is set up on the landing for an invitation to relaxation and meditation.

On the top floor are the other 2 bedrooms of the housing. The first has 4 beds (90×200 cm) convertible into 2 beds (180×200 cm), 2 armchairs and a private bathroom with shower and WC. The second bedroom has 2 beds (90×200 cm) convertible into one (180×200 cm), 2 armchairs and a separate private bathroom and WC. Here again, there is a welcoming reading corner on the landing.

Outside, a private terrace, with pergola, garden table and chairs, allows meals to be taken in the shade of the Ouessant sun. A barbecue is available to prepare your grills. Good to know, the rental has a bicycle parking area and a garden shed.

In the laundry room, you will find a washing machine, a dryer, an iron as well as drying racks to dry your clothes. On request, we provide all the equipment for your baby: cot, booster seat, high chair, and cane stroller.

Animals are accepted, but after prior agreement.

The cottage « Le Bout du Monde » is equipped with convector heating. However, the house is insulated enough so that you don’t need to turn it on. Far from the mainland, Ouessant is not connected to the mainland electricity grid. Energy is supplied by a fuel-powered generator. Using electricity in a reasoned way contributes to sustainable development on the island.
