Markets

On the small square in front of the church you will find every morning :

  • Fish, freshly caught by Jean-Denis and Ondine, and crabs (when in season).
  • The Crêpes à l’ouest d’Olivier, to be ordered the day before (06 62 88 74 07)

A vast project to revive island agriculture has led to the creation of three farms in 2020. Two of them are engaged in dairy production and one in market gardening. A small market in the courtyard of the Sainte-Anne school is held on Saturday mornings to sell their products:

  • Marie and Thomas, Jersey cow breeders, offer raw milk, butter, yoghurts (plain and flavoured) and cheeses.
  • Charlène, a sheep farmer, offers her fresh cheeses, plain or flavoured with herbs.
  • Vincent sells his home-grown “organic” vegetables (potatoes, leeks, lettuce, tomatoes, etc.).
